Well, let me tell ya, this here “burning questions tarot” thing, it’s somethin’ else. Folks say it’s for when you got a real head-scratcher of a question, somethin’ that keeps you up at night. Not just any old question, mind you, but a real big one.
Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but even I get a question or two that just burns in my gut. Like, “Why does that darn rooster keep crowin’ before the sun’s even thinkin’ about gettin’ up?” Or, “Will my tomatoes grow big and juicy this year, or will them pesky squirrels get to ’em first?” See? Real life stuff.
This tarot, they say it can help with all sorts of questions. Anything that’s got you in a tizzy, I guess. They even say it can help with them “highly emotional” things. You know, the stuff that makes your heart pound and your palms sweat. Like when you’re waitin’ to hear back from the doctor, or when your grandbaby’s got the sniffles. It’s for them times when you need a little somethin’ to help you see clearer, you know?
- Can help with big questions.
- Can be used for any type of question.
- Good for emotional topics.
They got all sorts of questions you can ask this tarot thing. Like, “How can I get to know myself better?” That’s a good one, I reckon. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think, “Who is that old lady starin’ back at me?” I mean, I know it’s me, but sometimes I feel like a stranger to myself. They say you can ask the tarot things like, “What am I missin’ about myself?” or “How can I get a handle on my feelin’s?” Seems like it could be useful.
Then there’s questions about why you do the things you do. Like, why do I always yell at the TV when the game’s on? Or why do I get so flustered when I can’t find my glasses? The tarot, they say it can help you figure that stuff out. It can help you see your biggest fears and your strong points and weak points. That’s what they say, anyways.
But here’s the thing, and this is important. You gotta remember that the only things you can really control are your own thinkin’ and your own doin’s. You can’t control the weather, you can’t control what other folks do, and you sure as heck can’t control that rooster. So, when you’re askin’ them questions, you gotta keep that in mind. Ask about what you can do, not what you want someone else to do.
Like, instead of askin’, “Will my son finally get a good job?” you should be askin’, “How can I support my son in his job search?” See the difference? It’s about takin’ charge of your own self, not tryin’ to control everything around you. That’s what I’ve learned in my long life, anyway.
So, this burnin’ questions tarot, it seems like it could be helpful. If you got a question that’s eatin’ at you, maybe it’s worth a try. Just remember to keep your feet on the ground and focus on what you can do. And don’t go askin’ it silly questions, like “Will I win the lottery?” It ain’t a magic eight ball, you know? It’s just a tool to help you think things through and maybe get a little bit of guidance along the way. And that, I reckon, ain’t a bad thing at all.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go chase that rooster outta my garden.
