Alright, let’s talk about this lower back pain thing, you know, the achy stuff right in your, uh, lower back. I ain’t no fancy doctor or nothin’, but I heard some things, and I’ve had my share of back troubles, let me tell ya.
Some folks say it’s all in your head, you know, like if you’re worried or sad all the time, your back’s gonna start hurtin’. Makes sense, I guess. When my old man was sick, my back was just killin’ me. Couldn’t hardly stand up straight.
Then there’s this star talk, this astro-whatsit. Astrology, that’s it. They say the stars and planets and all that mess can mess with your back too. Sounds crazy, right? But who knows? These old-timers, they used to look at the sky for everything, planting crops, gettin’ married…maybe they knew somethin’ ‘bout back pain too.
They talk about Libra, somethin’ about your hips and kidneys and stuff. And then there’s these “houses,” like the 9th house and the 10th house. Sounds like a big ol’ mansion to me! But they say the 9th house is all about your lower back, your hip joints, and all that down there. And the 10th, well, that’s your spine and bones. Seems like a lot of houses for just one body, huh?
- Libra: They say it’s connected to your lower back, hips, kidneys. I don’t know much about Libra, but if it’s messin’ with my back, I ain’t happy.
- 9th House: This one’s supposed to be about your lower back muscles and even those hip joints. Sciatica, they call it, when the pain shoots down your leg. Had that once, thought I was gonna die!
- 10th House: This one’s all about your spine and bones. If somethin’s wrong in this house, you’re gonna feel it, that’s for sure.
Now, they also blame some planets for this back pain. Saturn, Mercury, Rahu, and Mars. Sounds like a bunch of troublemakers to me. Especially that Saturn fella, always hearin’ bad things about him. And if your Moon is hangin’ out with Venus, well, you’re in for it, they say. Constant back pain, just like my cousin Martha. Poor thing, couldn’t hardly bend over to pick up her chickens.
And then there’s this talk about energy, and chakras. They say there’s this energy center right in your lower back, and if it’s all blocked up, you’re gonna hurt. I don’t know about no energy centers, but I do know when my back’s locked up, I can’t do nothin’. Can’t even hoe the garden, and that’s a problem.
So, what do you do about it? Well, some folks say you gotta look inside yourself, figure out what’s botherin’ you, what’s makin’ you all stressed out. And then you gotta let it go. Easier said than done, I tell ya. Life ain’t easy, and it sure ain’t easy on the back.
Maybe it’s a good idea to get some help, talk to someone, or try some of that…what do they call it? Holistic stuff? Yoga, maybe? I tried that once, nearly broke my neck! But I guess it works for some folks. And prayin’ don’t hurt none either. Ask the good Lord to take away the pain, and maybe He will.
Listen, I ain’t got all the answers. But I know this: back pain is a real pain in the…well, you know. And if lookin’ at the stars or thinkin’ about your feelings can help, well, why not? Just tryin’ to find a way to stand up straight again, that’s all.
And if none of that works, well, there’s always them pills the doctor gives ya. But don’t take too many, or you’ll be walkin’ around like a zombie. And that ain’t no good for your back either.
