Well, howdy there! Let’s talk about this here… astrology bear thing. Don’t rightly know what all them fancy words mean, but I reckon I can tell you a thing or two about bears and how they might just line up with them stars and such.
What’s a Bear Got to Do with It?
Now, I ain’t no scholar, but I hear tell that some folks look up at the sky and see all sorts of critters. Lions, foxes, rabbits… you name it. And bears, well, they’re in there too, apparently. They say your birthday, when you popped outta your mama, that decides what kinda critter you are. Like, if you born in a certain time, you might be a bear person.
- Bears are strong, you see. They ain’t afraid of nothin’.
- They like their comfort, too. Find a good spot to den up, and they’re happy as a clam.
- And they’re protective. Don’t mess with a mama bear and her cubs, I tell ya!
Bear Signs and What They Mean (Maybe)
So, if you’re a bear person, what does that mean? Well, like I said, you’re probably pretty strong-willed. You know what you want and you go after it. You ain’t gonna let nobody push you around. But you also like things to be steady and predictable. You don’t like a lot of fuss and bother. You like your home, your family, and your comforts. And you’ll fight tooth and nail to protect them.
Now, some folks say there’s different kinds of bears, just like there’s different kinds of people. Some are like them grizzly bears – big and tough and in charge. Others are like them black bears – a little more shy, but still plenty strong. And then there’s them polar bears way up north – cool as cucumbers and able to handle just about anything.
It’s All About Them Stars, They Say
This whole astrology thing, it’s about them stars, you know. Where they were when you was born. And them stars, they got different names and meanings. I can’t rightly remember ‘em all, but there’s this “Venus” one, and it’s all about love and pretty things. If Venus is your star and you’re a bear, well, maybe that means you’re a real sweet and loving bear, but still strong and protective, you know?
Some of them old-timey folks, like them Mayans and Native Americans, they had their own ways of looking at the stars and animals. They had their own bear signs and stories, too. I heard tell that some of them Mayans thought that folks born under certain signs, they got along better than others. Like, if you was a “Yax” sign, you’d like folks born under the “Yaxkin” sign. Don’t ask me what that means, but it sounds fancy, don’t it?
Is it Real? Who Knows!
Now, you might be wondering, is all this bear and star stuff real? Well, I ain’t got the foggiest. Some folks swear by it. They say it can tell you all sorts of things about yourself and your life. Others say it’s just a bunch of hooey. Me? I figure it’s like anything else. Take it with a grain of salt. If it makes you feel good to think you’re a strong, protective bear, well, then go right ahead.
But don’t go blaming the stars if you make a bad decision. You’re still responsible for your own actions, bear sign or no bear sign. Just like that lucky fella I heard about, he didn’t believe in bad luck, he just helped folks get confident and strong in themselves. That’s the way I see it, anyway.
And speaking of rare things, did you know there’s this one star sign that’s rarer than a hen’s teeth? I heard it’s them born between January 20 and February 18. They’re something called “Aquarius.” They oughta be proud of being so rare, I reckon. Just like a white bear in the summertime.
So, there you have it. A little bit about bears and stars, from a plain old country gal. Maybe it means something, maybe it don’t. But it’s kind of fun to think about, ain’t it?
