Hey there, listen up! Today I gonna tell ya somethin’ ’bout this thing called astrology marketing. Yeah, that’s right, it’s ’bout how them star-gazers sell their stuff. Ain’t no fancy words here, just plain ol’ talk like we do down at the market.
What in Tarnation is Astrology Marketing?
Well, it’s like this. You got yer fortune tellers, right? They look at the stars and tell ya what’s gonna happen. Now, astrology marketing is just them folks tryin’ to get more people to come and listen to ’em. They gotta make a livin’ too, ya know?
They do all sorts of things. Like, put up them bright lights, kinda like them Christmas decorations, but all year round. Makes ’em look all mysterious and important, I reckon. And they talk to folks, ask ’em ’bout their troubles. “Oh, honey, you got troubles with yer love life? The stars can help ya!” That kinda thing.
Gettin’ the Word Out
Now, how do they get people to come see ’em? That’s where the marketin’ comes in. It’s like when I sell my pies at the county fair. Gotta make ’em look good, smell good, and tell everyone ’bout ’em. These star folks, they gotta do the same.
- Some of ’em use them influencer folks. You know, them young’uns always on their phones, takin’ pictures of themselves. They get paid to talk ’bout the star stuff, get more people interested.
- And then there’s them ads. Just like them flyers I put up for my bake sale, but these are on the computer. They pop up when you’re lookin’ at somethin’ else, tryin’ to get yer attention. “Get yer horoscope read!” they say.
- They also write stuff, like, little stories ’bout the stars and what they mean. They call it content marketing. It’s like tellin’ a story to get people hooked, I guess. Like how I tell folks how I use my grandma’s secret recipe for my apple pie.
They also got them Google ads. Yeah that big search engine everybody talkin’ ’bout. If you search for somethin’ like “future” or “love,” you will probably see some star-readin’ folks there. It’s like payin’ for a good spot at the farmer’s market. You pay more, you get a better spot where more people see ya.
Making it Personal
These astrology folks, they try to make it all personal-like. They tell ya they can give ya a personalized reading. Means they’ll look at yer birthday and all that, and tell ya somethin’ just for you. It’s like when I ask folks what kinda pie they like best, then I make it special for ’em.
They say the stars got all these planetary alignments, like how the planets line up in the sky. And that affects the prices, they say. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but I guess some folks believe it. Like sayin’ the price of my pies depends on whether the moon is full or not! But hey, whatever brings in the customers, right?
They talk ’bout support and resistance levels. Sounds like somethin’ from one of them war movies, don’t it? But they say it’s ’bout the prices, like how high they can go or how low they can drop. Like the price of eggs, always goin’ up and down.
Keepin’ Up With the Times
Even though this astrology stuff is old as the hills, they try to keep up with the times. They use all them newfangled things like computers and phones. It’s like me, I still use my grandma’s recipe, but I got me one of them electric ovens now. Makes things a bit easier.
These astrologers, they make them little movies. Talkin’ ’bout the stars, and they put these on their computers for people to watch. It’s like watchin’ a show on the TV, but ’bout stars ‘n’ such. And sometimes they have people who are known to say good things for them and tell their followers, then more people will come to them.
They also got them, them things called “apps.” Like little games on yer phone, but they tell ya ’bout yer stars and such. My grandson, he’s always playin’ games on his phone. Maybe he’s got one of them astrology apps, I dunno.
It’s All About Business
Now, I ain’t sayin’ I believe all this star stuff. But I gotta give it to ’em, these astrology folks know how to run a business. They’re always thinkin’ of new ways to get people interested. Just like me, always tryin’ new recipes for my pies, tryin’ to get more folks to buy ’em.
They even have their own industry. Astrology industry. And they keep up with the new marketing tactics. Like I told you before, influencer, Google ads and such things.
So, there ya have it. That’s astrology marketing for ya. It’s all ’bout sellin’ that star stuff, just like I sell my pies. Ain’t no magic to it, just good ol’ fashioned business sense. And maybe a little bit of stardust, if ya believe in that sort of thing.
