Hey everyone, it’s your boy back at it again with another one of my little projects. So, I’ve gotten into this whole tarot card thing lately. It’s kinda fun, you know? I picked up this deck called the “Cosmic Tarot,” and I thought I’d share my whole experience with it, from start to finish.
First off, I went online and started looking for a tarot deck that seemed interesting. I really like space and all that, you know, the stars, planets, that sort of stuff. And then I found it – the Cosmic Tarot deck. I ordered it right away, pretty stoked to get my hands on it. I got the deck in my hands and it was the feeling you know.
After I got the deck, I started reading the little booklet that came with it. It tells you all the basics, like how to shuffle the cards, how to lay them out for a reading, and what each card might mean. I mean, it’s all kinda new to me, but I just went with the flow.
Getting Into the Cards
Then I spent some time just looking at the cards themselves. The artwork on these is really something else. It’s like, they took symbols and stuff from different times in history and mixed them all together with this space theme. Pretty cool, right? I started with the Major Arcana, you know, the big ones. The Empress card, for example, she’s sitting on this throne, looking all powerful. She was also beautiful and so kind. And there are all these symbols around her that I guess mean nature and abundance.
- The Empress: She’s all about being fertile and nurturing, a real mother figure, but also like, a boss.
- The Threes: These are part of the Minor Arcana. Apparently, the number three means finishing something or using your creativity to make things happen. Kind of like communication and growth, according to the booklet.
Doing My First Readings
Next, I tried doing some readings for myself. I’d shuffle the cards, thinking about a question or something I wanted guidance on. Then I’d lay them out in different spreads, like the Celtic Cross or just a simple three-card spread. It was a little tricky at first, trying to figure out what the cards were trying to tell me. I’d look at the pictures, think about the meanings I’d read, and try to connect it all to my own life. I wrote down everything in my journal, just to keep track of it all. And you know what? Some of the readings were actually pretty spot on. It made me think about things in a different way. I was like “wow” and felt so good and calm. I should try more times in my life.
Keeping Up With It
I’ve been doing readings with this deck for a while now, and it’s become like this little ritual for me. I don’t do it every day, but when I feel like I need some clarity or just want to reflect on things, I’ll break out the Cosmic Tarot. And I’m still learning! Every time I do a reading, I feel like I discover something new, either about the cards or about myself. That feels so good, right?
So yeah, that’s my journey with the Cosmic Tarot deck so far. It’s been a cool experience, and I’m definitely going to keep using it. Maybe I’ll even try some other decks in the future. Who knows? If you guys have any questions or want to share your own tarot experiences, hit me up in the comments!
