Okay, so I saw this interesting tarot spread online called “Is He Thinking of Me?” and I thought, why not give it a shot? I mean, who hasn’t wondered if a certain someone is thinking about them? I know I have. So, I grabbed my tarot deck, the one with the cool artwork that I picked up at that quirky little shop downtown. It always feels like it has a good vibe, you know?
I cleared my space first, of course. I lit a candle – a vanilla-scented one because it’s my favorite and it helps me relax – and put on some chill music. Nothing too distracting, just some lo-fi beats in the background. I wanted to make sure my head was in the right place before I started.
I shuffled the cards while thinking about this guy I’ve been seeing. We’ve been on a few dates, and things seem to be going well, but you know how it is. You start to wonder if they’re feeling the same way. So, I focused on him and the question, “Is he thinking of me?” while I shuffled.
Then, I laid out the cards according to the spread I found. It was a simple five-card spread, looked pretty straightforward.
- The first card was supposed to represent his overall feelings towards me. I flipped it over, and it was the Ace of Cups. That’s a good sign, right? It usually means new beginnings and emotional fulfillment. I felt a little flutter of hope in my chest.
- The second card was about his current thoughts. I got the Knight of Swords. Okay, this one’s a bit more intense. It can mean ambition and determination, but also being a bit impulsive. Maybe he’s thinking about taking things to the next level? Or maybe he’s just busy with work. Hard to tell.
- The third card, which was the real heart of the matter, was about whether he’s specifically thinking of me. And guess what? I pulled the Two of Cups! This card is all about connection and partnership. I couldn’t help but smile. It definitely seemed like he was thinking of me, and in a positive way.
- The fourth card was about the potential future of our relationship. I got the Chariot. This one’s about willpower and victory, overcoming obstacles. It suggests that things could progress, but it might take some effort. Relationships are work, after all.
- The fifth card was advice for me, what I should do. And it was the Queen of Wands. She’s confident, passionate, and independent. I took it as a sign to keep being myself and not to overthink things too much. Just go with the flow and see what happens.
After I finished the reading, I sat there for a while, just taking it all in. I wrote down the cards I pulled and my initial interpretations in my journal. It’s always interesting to look back later and see how things turned out.
Overall, it was a really positive reading. It gave me some reassurance and made me feel more hopeful about this guy. But, of course, tarot is just a tool for reflection. It’s not going to predict the future with 100% accuracy. The rest is up to me and him, I guess. We’ll see what happens!
I put away my deck, blew out the candle, and turned off the music. The room felt a little brighter, a little more full of possibility. I decided to send him a text, just a simple “Hey, how’s your day going?” No pressure, just keeping the lines of communication open. He texted back pretty quickly, and we ended up chatting for a while. It felt good, natural. Maybe the cards were right after all. We’ll see, I guess I’ll keep you all posted!
