Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with those daily horoscope things and see if I could use them to pick some lottery numbers. Yeah, I know, it sounds a bit out there, but I was bored and thought, why not? I decided to go with the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games ’cause they seemed simpler.
First off, I grabbed my phone and looked up the daily horoscopes. I’m a Sagittarius, so I paid extra attention to that one. It said something about Jupiter being a lucky planet for us Sagittarians and how we like to take risks. I thought, well it make sense to me, so might as well try it. I read through all the signs, just to see what they said. Some of them talked about certain numbers or vibes for the day, but honestly, it was all kind of vague.
Next, I went to some website called Pick34 or something. They claim to give you “better” lottery numbers. I looked around and put in my birth date and all that, but it didn’t really give me any clear numbers for Pick 3 or Pick 4. It was more about general lucky numbers, which wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.
Then I did some more Googling and found out that a lot of people just go with the quick-pick option when they play the lottery. That’s when the machine just spits out random numbers for you. I figured there might be something to that since it’s all supposed to be random anyway. There was also some talk about how the numbers 61, 32, 21, 63, and 36 are picked a lot, along with a Powerball number of 18. And some numbers like 13, 34, 49, and 29 are apparently picked less often. So much for those unlucky 13.
After all that, I decided to try a few different things. First, I picked some numbers based on the horoscope stuff. I went with 9, 3, and 5 for Pick 3. Don’t ask me why I picked them, I just felt them at the time. For Pick 4, I added a 7 ’cause it seemed like a good number to me at that moment, so I had 9, 3, 5, and 7.
Then, just for kicks, I did a couple of quick-picks. I figured I’d cover my bases, you know? I mean if I win with a quick pick after all this horoscope stuff, I am not sure how I would feel.
I also decided to try those “popular” numbers I read about. So, I made another Pick 4 ticket with 6, 1, 3, and 2 just because. And just to be contrary, I did one with those “unpopular” numbers: 1, 3, 4, and 9.
My Lottery Tickets
- Pick 3: 9, 3, 5 (based on horoscope vibes)
- Pick 4: 9, 3, 5, 7 (horoscope plus a random 7)
- Pick 4: Quick-pick numbers
- Pick 4: Another set of quick-pick numbers
- Pick 4: 6, 1, 3, 2 (the “popular” numbers)
- Pick 4: 1, 3, 4, 9 (the “unpopular” numbers)
So yeah, that’s what I did today. I bought a bunch of lottery tickets using a mix of horoscope ideas, random picks, and some popular and unpopular numbers I found online. Did I win anything? Nope. But hey, it was fun to try something different. Maybe next time I’ll try a different approach, or maybe I’ll just stick to quick-picks. Who knows? Lottery is a weird game, man.
Anyway, if you’re feeling bored and want to try something silly, give this a shot. It won’t cost you much, and it’s kind of fun to see if the stars or whatever can help you pick some numbers. Just don’t expect to become a millionaire overnight, alright?
