Alright, let’s talk about this… this… dance astrology thing, whatever they call it. I ain’t no fancy scholar, mind you, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. But even I can see some connections, you know?
What is this Dance Astrology Anyways?
So, from what I gather, these city folks, they look up at the stars and planets. They say where them things were when you were born, well, that affects your whole life. Your mood, your personality, even what you like to do. Sounds like a load of hogwash sometimes, but then again, the moon does pull the tides, don’t it? And some folks say it makes ’em crazy too, ha!
Now, this “dance astrology,” that’s about figuring out if you got the moves in you, just by looking at them stars. Sounds silly, I know. But them star-gazers, they got their reasons.
Stars and Dancing Feet
- They talk about somethin’ called “Pisces.” Sounds fishy to me, but they say if you got this “Venus” thing in Pisces, well, you’re likely to be a good dancer. Venus, they say, is all about pretty things, music, and such. And when it’s in Pisces, it makes your feet wanna move, I guess.
- Then there’s this “12th house.” Imagine a house in the sky, sounds crazy, right? But they say this house is all about your feet. So, if the stars are lined up right in that 12th house, you might just be a dancin’ machine.
- And this “Leo” and “5th house,” they say it’s all about being creative, like makin’ up dances and stuff. If you got some important stars hangin’ around in them houses, you might be the next Fred Astaire or somethin’. Though I ain’t never seen him dance myself.
Is it Real or Just Star Dust?
Now, I don’t know if all this star talk is true. But I do know some folks are just born with rhythm. My grandpappy could tap his feet to anything, even a creaky door. Maybe it was the stars, maybe it was just in his blood. Who knows?
These star folks, they got their fancy charts and computer programs. They punch in your birthday and out pops all this information about your stars and planets. They say it’s accurate, but I’m still a bit skeptical. Seems like a lot of guesswork to me.

But if you wanna look up at the sky and see if the stars are on your side, well, that’s your business. Just don’t go blamin’ the planets if you trip over your own two feet, ha!
The Big Question They Keep Askin’
These star folks, they keep askin’ themselves how it all works. Does the sky really change your life? I guess they got their theories and whatnot. But for me, I just see a bunch of twinklin’ lights. Pretty to look at, but I ain’t convinced they’re pullin’ my strings.

One thing for sure, astrology ain’t magic. It ain’t gonna make you rich or famous. It ain’t gonna solve all your problems. It’s just another way of lookin’ at the world, I reckon. And maybe, just maybe, it can tell you somethin’ about yourself, even if it’s just a little bit.
