So, the other day, I was messing around with my birth chart, you know, just for fun. I’ve always been kinda into astrology, but I never really dug deep into the whole ascendant thing. Turns out, I’m a Taurus ascendant with Libra. Yeah, sounds fancy, right?
First, I gotta figure out what this even means. I hit up some websites. Apparently, Taurus ascendant means that’s the sign that was chilling on the eastern horizon when I popped into this world. And since Taurus is ruled by Venus, I guess that makes me all about beauty, creativity, and being stable. Cool, cool.
Then there’s the Libra part. They say Libra risings are all about balance and have these, like, symmetrical features. Okay, I can see that. I’ve always been told I have a pretty even face. It’s like I could be a model in another life, if I didn’t love donuts so much. Anyway, I am also ruled by air for my Libra rising.
So, I’m a mix of this grounded, earthy Taurus energy and this airy, balanced Libra vibe. I started to think about how that plays out in my life. I do love beautiful things. My apartment is filled with plants and artwork, and I spend way too much time picking out the perfect throw pillows. I guess that’s the Venus influence.
- Creativity Check: I’m always working on some kind of creative project. I do a lot of painting and writing, and I even tried to learn the guitar for a while. I was terrible at it, but it was fun.
- Stability Check: I crave routine and stability. I’m not one for spontaneous adventures. I like to know what’s happening and when. It makes me feel safe, you know?
- Balance Check: I’m a pretty chill person. I don’t like drama or conflict. I try to see both sides of every situation and keep the peace. Sometimes that makes me a bit of a pushover, but I’m working on it.
Putting it all together, I think I am a creative person but not in the typical sense. I love to have a stable life. I mean who doesn’t? I am also a pretty balanced person. I try my best to not cause any drama.
I’m starting to see how these two signs really do show up in my personality. It’s like I’m this walking contradiction sometimes – wanting to be surrounded by beauty but also needing that sense of security. It’s a vibe, I guess.
It was a fun little deep dive into my astrological makeup. I’m not saying I’m going to start making life decisions based on my rising sign, but it’s definitely given me some food for thought. And hey, at least I can now say I’m a Taurus ascendant with Libra. Makes me sound way more interesting than I probably am.
