Alright, let’s talk about the tarot card reading I did in Salem. It was a pretty interesting experience, I gotta say. So I went to Salem last month, it’s a really cool place with all the witch history and stuff. I was walking around, checking out all the shops, and I saw this sign for tarot card readings. I’ve always been kind of curious about that kind of thing, so I thought, why not?
I walked into this little shop, it was all dark and mysterious inside, with candles and incense and all that. There was this lady, the reader, sitting at a table, and she invited me to sit down. I was a little nervous, not gonna lie, but she was really nice and made me feel comfortable.
She asked me what I wanted to focus on in the reading, and I told her I was mostly interested in my career. I’ve been feeling a little stuck lately, not sure what my next move should be, you know?
So she had me shuffle the cards, and then she laid them out in a specific pattern. I think it was called the Celtic Cross spread or something like that. Each card is supposed to represent something different, like your past, present, future, hopes, fears, and so on.
She started flipping over the cards one by one, explaining what each one meant in relation to my career. Some of it was pretty general, but some of it was surprisingly spot on. Like, she pulled one card that she said represented a “hidden talent” or something, and it really resonated with me because I’ve been thinking about starting a side project related to one of my hobbies.
- The first card she pulled was “The Magician,” which she said represented new beginnings and taking action.
- Then she pulled “The Empress,” which she said was about creativity and abundance.
- There were a couple of cards that were a little more confusing, like “The Hanged Man” and “The Tower,” but she explained them in a way that made sense.
- The last card was “The World,” which she said represented completion and success.
She talked about how I need to trust my intuition more and not be afraid to take risks. She also said that I might have some unexpected opportunities coming my way, so I should keep my eyes open.
The whole reading took about 30 minutes. Honestly, I don’t know if I totally buy into all of it, but it was definitely a fun experience. And it did give me some food for thought about my career. I guess we’ll see if any of her predictions come true!
After the reading, I thanked her and paid her for her time. Then I walked around Salem some more, feeling a little more hopeful and inspired than before. Maybe there’s something to this tarot stuff after all. Who knows?
Anyway, that’s my story about getting a tarot card reading in Salem. If you’re ever in the area, I recommend checking it out. Even if you’re a skeptic, it’s a fun and unique experience.
