Well, let me tell ya, September 5, 2020, that was some day, wasn’t it? Folks were talkin’ about all sorts of things, stars and such. I ain’t no fancy astrologer, mind you, but I heard some things.
The Big Day, September Fifth
They said if you were born on that day, you’re always lookin’ for things to be just right, you know, balanced and peaceful like. Like when you’re makin’ a quilt and gotta get all them squares even, otherwise it just looks a mess. That’s what they meant, I reckon.
And if it was your birthday? Well, lucky you! People were gonna be tellin’ you how great you are. Not that you didn’t already know, but it’s always nice to hear, ain’t it? Like when someone tells you your apple pie is the best they ever had. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
- It’s like, you know, you’re good at bakin’ pies, and everyone knows it, but it’s still nice when they say, “My, that’s the best pie I ever did taste!”
- Makes you wanna bake ’em another one, doesn’t it?
Virgo, the Maiden, and all that jazz
They called it a Virgo day, somethin’ about a Maiden. I ain’t sure what that means, but it sounds kinda fancy. Maybe it means you’re supposed to be cleanin’ your house or somethin’. Lord knows, my house always needs a good cleanin’.
Now, this moon, it was in Aries, and it was fightin’ with Jupiter. Jupiter, that sounds like a big fella, don’t it? Like that big ol’ bull we used to have on the farm. Always causin’ trouble, that bull was. So, I guess the moon and Jupiter were havin’ a bit of a tiff that day.
Mercury in Libra, talkin’ and such
And then there was Mercury, scootin’ into Libra. Mercury, that’s a fast little fella, always flittin’ around. And Libra, that’s about bein’ friendly and gettin’ along. So, I guess it means people were talkin’ a lot, tryin’ to be nice to each other. Though, some folks just can’t help but stir up trouble, no matter what the stars say.
It’s like when you go to the market, and everyone’s chatterin’ and gossiping. Some folks are sweet as pie, and others are just sour as lemons. That’s just the way it is, I guess. You can’t change folks, no matter how hard you try.
What it all means, I reckon
So, what does it all mean? Well, I ain’t entirely sure. But it sounds like it was a day for tryin’ to find some peace and quiet, even if things were a bit chaotic. Like tryin’ to find a quiet corner at the county fair. Good luck with that!
And if it was your birthday, well, enjoy the praise, but don’t let it go to your head. There’s always more work to be done, more pies to bake, more quilts to sew. Life ain’t about sittin’ around doin’ nothin’, that’s for sure.
Just another day, really
But in the end, it was just another day, wasn’t it? The sun came up, the sun went down. Folks went about their business, just like always. Stars and planets might be doin’ their thing up there, but down here, we gotta keep on livin’, keep on workin’, keep on tryin’ to make the best of things. That’s the way I see it, anyway.
And that’s about all I got to say about September 5, 2020. It was a day, just like any other, full of sunshine and maybe a little bit of rain, both the weather kind and the people kind.
